So often, bloggers limit themselves to showing only the successes, leaving one to think that the artist's life is one of perfect inspiration and accomplishment, day after day, when we know, instinctively and practically, that this is fantasy.<br /><br />Your point about taking a breather when something isn't working is well taken. Sometimes when I've stepped back, it's been the death knell for whatever I was working on.
